Paper Petals was founded by me, Doreen Smith. The song you hear in the video above was recorded by me. I have been a professional singer and musician all of my adult life. When Covid hit, I had to give up my passion. Stuck at home like most of us, I looked for something to fill my time. I didn't make sourdough. I started making flowers. I had read a Shopify article about how some of these crafts we took up during lockdown could develop into a business. I didn't dare to dream but I bought a book to get me started  then quickly upgraded my skills through Youtube.  Lo and behold, my efforts flourished into a thing of great personal joy!
